Kpando MP, Sebastian Deh has noted that promoting education in all forms in his constituency has remained one of the key pillars on which his work as a public figure has stood out so far- “my attention shifted to the very basic level”.
In doing so, the MP Sebastian Deh has supported the Kpando Municipal Directorate of Education to plan and celebrate the annual “My First Day At School programme”, which was held as a Community durbar of all stakeholders to welcome a total 111 children entering school for the first time in the Municipality.
Speaking to the media during the occasion, Mr. Deh said, “tt was an exciting moment for me to interact with community leaders, industrious teachers, and a cross-section of the general public to welcome the new enthusiastic children to school at the Aloyi Cluster of Schools Park.
He used the occasion to donate a quantity of Teaching and Learning Materials to the Municipal Directorate of Education to the various schools -“As the MP, and guest speaker for the day, I used the opportunity to call on all stakeholders to collaborate with government to ensure the vision of HE the President embedded in the Bright Beginning program aimed at revamping basic and inclusive education, is actualized”.
He also encouraged the teachers to continue to give off their best for Kpando and Ghana, “I also put smiles on faces of the children by supporting the donation of a quantity of Teaching and Learning Materials (TLMs) to the various schools represented”.
