Thousands of people from all walks of life trooped to the Anlo-Afiadenyigba funeral grounds as Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey, MP for the Area laid his Mother to rest on Saturday, 28th February, 2026.
The funeral ground was not only filled to capacity, but also overflowed with people and cars so much that it rendered the place highly impassable.

The milling crowd cut across, comprising Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, Members of Parliamentar Service Board and Journalists.
Others were Chiefs, Queens, Clergy, Traditional rulers and many more.
The place, was also filled with many local drumming groups thereby rendering the occasion a semi funfair and rally.
These groups comprised with Akpalu, Borborbor and cocktails of Agbadza music spotted allover.
Also, the Ghana Armed Foces Band was there to release danceable tunes to entertain the numerous mourners.

It goes without saying, the Presbyterian, Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana Choir was there to lead and give melodious sounds for the occasion.

Readers may wonder to hear that not a single soul at the funeral went without much to eat and drink as a result cateries were there to serve the well attended event.
Orderliness, in spite of the milling crowd, the event was incident free as security was highly beefed up

Honouring his mother, many were those who highly praised the MP for organizing such a grand funeral for his late mother, Prebyter Henrietta Atsufui Avuglah, 76.
This funeral will go down in history, as one of the grandest and most organized in the town, Anlo-Afiadenyigb.
