Ghana Boundary Commission meets GNPC on maritime between Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, and Togo

A delegation from the Ghana Boundary Commission, led by the Commissioner General, Major General Emmanuel Kotia, on Wednesday 26 February 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Mr. Kwame Ntow Amoah at the GNPC Head Office in Tema

The aim of the visit was to discuss with the CEO on the mandate and activities of the Commission and to further strengthen the ties of collaboration between the Commission and GNPC. The meeting also discussed key strategic issues on the maritime between Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, and Togo. Various issues of mutual interest were also discussed.

Expressing his appreciation, the CEO appreciated the effort of the Commission towards safeguarding the territorial sovereignty of Ghana. Mr. Ntow Amoah also highlighted the critical role the Commission plays towards the effective functioning of GNPC and vice versa. He further pledged GNPC’s continuous support and collaboration with the Commission.

The visit of the Commission to GNPC is part of a series of annual visits to key stakeholders of the Commission aimed at ensuring continuous collaboration between the Commission and its stakeholders.
