The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) lawyer Godwin Kudzo Tameklo has paid a working visit to the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).
He commended the leadership of TOR for revamping the operations of TOR and assured them of NPA’s support.
Lawyer Tameklo was accompanied by Deputy Chief Executives, Dr. Sheila Addo and Dr. Bukari Dramani; Directors; Heads of Department, and officers.
The Managing Director of TOR, Edmond Kombat, thanked the NPA for being instrumental in the revamping of the refinery.

The visitation of Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, signals a positive development in Ghana’s petroleum sector as NPA Team praised TOR’s leadership for successfully revitalizing the refinery’s operations, indicating progress in restoring local refining capacity.
He again reaffirmed the NPA’s commitment to supporting TOR’s ongoing efforts, which could enhance Ghana’s energy security and reduce reliance on imported refined petroleum products. The visit also underscores a collaborative approach between regulatory authorities and industry players, potentially creating a more stable and efficient petroleum market.
