The Member of Parliament for Ketu North Edem Agbana has expressed his vision for the Ohawu Agric College, a prominent institution in his constituency, to be upgraded to a fully fledged agricultural university.
Delivering a keynote speech at the college’s graduation ceremony, the MP emphasized the institution’s immense potential and lamented years of neglect by successive governments.

In his speech, the Mr. Agbana urged the graduates to face life with courage and resilience, highlighting that life has no straight lines and everyone’s journey is unique. “Never look down on yourself. Life has no straight lines. Nobody’s journey is a perfect diagram,” he said.
The MP encouraged the graduates to stay focused and motivated, even when faced with challenges, using the analogy of a farmer who sharpens his tools when the soil is hard.

“When the soil is hard, the farmer does not complain; he sharpens his tools. That is how you must approach your journey,” he advised.
The Ohawu Agric College has been a vital institution in the constituency, and the MP’s call for its transformation into a university aims to unlock its full potential and contribute to Ghana’s agricultural development.
