Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, Greater Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Shai Osudoku, has officially launched an Educational Fund named “Linda Ocloo Education Fund” to secure the future of the youth in the area.
Tuesday 10 June 2025 signifies a pivotal milestone in the history of
Shai Osudoku with the formal inauguration of the Linda Ocloo Education Fund at Dodowa Presby Basic ‘B’ School.
This initiative epitomizes a commitment to investing in the future of Shai Osudoku and empowering youth through equitable access to quality education.
As Regional Minister and MP, Madam Linda was profoundly inspired to engage with the exceptional Junior High School (JHS) Form 3 students, who will shortly undertake the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
To bolster their confidence and preparedness, the Minister presented each candidate with brand new mathematical sets of essential instruments for examination excellence.
Complementary refreshments were also provided to ensure sustained focus and motivation during this academic juncture.
“Education constitutes the cornerstone of sustainable development. This Fund will broaden access to pedagogical resources, enhance educator training programs, and modernize school infrastructure across the region”.
Today, however, centered on our children: their aspirations, their latent potential, and our collective imperative to cultivate both.
She extended her profound gratitude to the Ghana Education Service, devoted educators, parents, and community leaders for their invaluable partnership.
