The Governing Board of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), led by its Chairman, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 embarked on a familiarization tour of selected facilities owned by the Authority to gain first-hand insight into their operations.
The tour covered the Jamestown Fishing Harbour, the Tema Fishing Harbour, the GPHA Health Post at the Tema Fishing Harbour, the GPHA Main Clinic, and the International Maritime Hospital (IMaH).
During the visit, Managers of the respective facilities delivered comprehensive presentations to the Board, highlighting their core mandates, operational activities, achievements to date, and future plans.
Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah commended the Management teams for their effective stewardship of the facilities and reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to providing strategic direction aimed at strengthening operations and unlocking the full potential of all GPHA facilities.
