The South Dayi Constituency is gearing up for a massive clean‑up exercise as part of the 69th Independence Day celebrations.
On Friday, 6th March 2026, residents will join a major environmental drive led by MP for the Area, Rockson‑Nelson Kwami Dafeamekpor, the Majority Chief Whip, and Courae Kwame Kokroko, the District Chief Executive.
The event will kick off at 6:30 am, with volunteers assembling at Tongor‑Tsanakpe before moving to Tongor‑Dzemeni, where a converging point is set at the Dzemeni Lakeside at 9:30 am.

The clean‑up aims to spruce up the community, promote civic pride, and highlight the importance of a clean environment in celebrating national independence. Participants will be equipped with brushes and other cleaning tools to tackle litter and improve sanitation around key public spaces, including the iconic building featured in the poster—likely a symbol of national heritage.
The initiative is powered by the South Dayi Constituency Communication Outfit, coordinated by Jonas Anyadi (Abɔr) and Emmanuel Amoah (Pastor).
