President John Mahama has just touched down at Ho Airport to participate in the 41st National Farmers’ Day celebrations, which is being held under the theme “Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future”.
The event is a grand national celebration honoring Ghana’s farmers and fishers for their contributions to food security and the rural economy.
He was received at the airport by the Volta Regional Minister, Members of Parliament, NDC Volta Regional Chairman, Regional Executives and other party members.
He was accompanied by the Food and Agriculture Minister, Minister of Fisheries and other Officials from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
The festivities kicked off on December 1 with the launch of the 2025 National Agricultural Fair at the Ho Sports Stadium, showcasing agricultural technology, value addition, and climate-resilient farming practices.
Today, December 5, President Mahama will be awarding the National Best Farmer and recognizing excellence across various crop categories, fisheries, and agri-innovation.
