The Member of Parliament for Nkwanta South Geoffrey Kini has conducted an inspection of the ongoing Maternity Block Projects, which aims to provide essential healthcare services to expectant mothers and newborns in two communities within the constituency with his constituency chairman Nana Prosper Akamani and constituency communications officer Salisu Zibrilla.
The maternity block is being constructed at Kabite and Agou Fie to serve the healthcare needs of the constituents.
The project includes delivery rooms and antenatal care facilities.
The facility will be equipped with modern medical equipment and staffed by trained healthcare professionals and Improved healthcare services for expectant mothers and newborns ,reduced referrals to distant facilities,enhancing access to care, Enhanced maternal and child health outcomes
The project is 67% complete, with an expected completion date by next year
Construction work is progressing well, with attention to quality and safety standards.
Discussions were held with contractors and healthcare officials to ensure the facility meets community needs and standards.
