Mayor Allotey, who was accompanied by the Coordinating Director, Mr. Douglas N.K Annoful and other directors from the Assembly visited the market on Tuesday, August 20, as part of his routine monitoring exercise in the city.

Speaking during the tour of the market Hon. Allotey announced plans to renovate the market to make it more conducive for trading activities

He assured traders that faulty streetlights in and around the market would soon be repaired, stressing that President John Dramani Mahama had released over 4,000 streetlights to Members of Parliament for distribution across communities.
