The discussions centered on enhancing Non-Traditional Exports (NTEs), reviving GEPA’s solo exhibitions in West Africa, and leveraging opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to expand Ghana’s market reach.

Mr. Arthur reaffirmed GEPA’s commitment to working closely with AGI to address industry challenges and position Ghanaian businesses competitively on the global stage. He emphasized the need for a concerted effort to boost exports and create sustainable growth for local enterprises.

AGI’s Chief Executive Officer, Seth Akwaboah, commended GEPA’s proactive approach and underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration between the two institutions. AGI President, Mr. Humphrey Darteh, also highlighted key strategic interventions, including resolving payment challenges, establishing Ghana Hubs in key markets, and enhancing advocacy for exporters.

To drive these initiatives, Mr. Arthur announced the formation of a dedicated committee tasked with assessing industry challenges and proposing actionable solutions to accelerate export growth.
