The Institute has marked another historic milestone with the official inauguration of the ICAG Past Presidents Association, a body that brings together all former Presidents of the Institute under one strategic and unified framework.
The ceremony, attended by members of the Council, Fellows, and distinguished professionals, celebrated both the legacy of ICAG’s past leaders and the future direction their collective expertise will support. This new Association is expected to play a major role in strengthening institutional development, and guiding the next phase of growth within the Accounting profession.

Why the Past Presidents Association Matters
The inauguration of the Association carries long-term value for ICAG and the nation. It preserves institutional memory, strengthens strategic direction, promotes mentorship, reinforces ethics and compliance, and elevates the Institute’s contribution to national development. Together, these areas position ICAG for greater resilience, relevance, and global alignment.
The President of the Institute, Mr. Augustine Addo commended the Past Presidents for their continous support of the Institute and assured them of the Institute’s support to execute the mandates of the Association.
The Institute is grateful to all our Past Presidents and may the souls of our departed Past Presidents continue to rest in perfect peace as we continue to uphold the legacy they have left behind.
