IGP resets Police administration, names new command heads

Christian Tetteh Yohuno, the Inspector-General of Police has made important command changes to ensure effective management and operational management in the Police Service

In effect, the famous COP Maame Yaa Tiwa Addo-Danquah named Director-General/R&P, and COP Paul Manly Awini moved to Service Workshop, Accra, as the 31-member reconstituted Police Management Board released to the media.

The command changes are aimed at ensuring effective management and operational control of the Ghana Police Service.

This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, and signed by Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Director, Public Affairs.

The new Police Management Board include:
