The Director-General of the National Service Authority, Ms Ruth Dela Seddoh, served as Special Guest of Honour at the passing-out ceremony of National Service Personnel (NSPs) who recently completed a two-week military orientation programme at Michelle Camp.

She was joined by the Deputy Director-General of Programs and Operations, Lt Col Moses Dok Nach Kpeungu, and the Managing Director of TDC Ghana Ltd, Mr. Courage Makafui Nunekpeku.
The training, conducted under the 1st Battalion Infantry and supervised by Commanding Officer Lt Col F Adams, aimed at instilling discipline, resilience, and a sense of national responsibility among the participants.

At the ceremony, the NSPs showcased a series of drills, demonstrating the skills and discipline acquired during the training period. Their performance drew commendation from the dignitaries present.
Addressing the gathering, Ms Seddoh praised the participants for their commitment and urged them to uphold the values of discipline, loyalty, and integrity in their service to the nation. She further revealed that the National Service Authority is set to roll out a National Military Training Programme, expected to commence between June and July this year.

Other speakers also congratulated the NSPs, encouraging them to apply the lessons learned and contribute meaningfully to national development.
The ceremony marked the successful completion of the pilot phase of the training initiative, positioning it as a key step toward strengthening discipline and professionalism among National Service Personnel.
