The main challenge facing OSP is the insufficient funding allocated to the office for security, specialized vehicles, and an upgrade in salaries.

Additionally, the request for chapter 24 of the constitution to be reviewed, and replaced with presumption of corruption was mentioned.

Subsequently, the Committee proceeded to the Copyright Office. Mr. William Akwetey Bonsu, Principal State Attorney in Charge of the Copyright Office of Ghana, highlighted the need for an updated copyright registration system, amendments to the Fees and Charges Act, and an increase in budget allocation.

The Deputy Ranking, Sulemana Tampuli Alhassan encouraged the Copyrights office to be innovative and to make good use of technology.

The Committee concluded its familiarization visit at the Economic and Organized Crime office (EOCO), where the Acting Executive Director, Mr. Raymond Archer stated that limited funds, confiscation of assets, asset management, the lack of conditions of service among others constituted challenges to the EOCO.
