The Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon and the Deputy Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Regions Affairs Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, has expressed her appreciation for the Speaker’s Breakfast Forum held in Accra.
During the event, she emphasized the importance of fostering closer ties between the Assembly and Parliament to enhance development and growth within communities.

In her remarks, Ms. Sowah highlighted that effective collaboration between the legislative bodies is crucial for implementing impactful policies and ensuring that development projects reach the grassroots. She called for more in-depth cooperation and dialogue to promote shared goals of national progress.

The forum, hosted by Speaker Bagbin, aimed to discuss strategies to decentralize Parliament and make it more accessible to ordinary citizens. The MP’s comments stressed her commitment to strengthening the relationship between different arms of government to better serve the people and accelerate development initiatives.
