Sebastian Deh, Member of Parliament for Kpando, marked Resurrection Sunday with a spiritually uplifting experience at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. As part of the service, he took the First Reading, filling him with reverence and gratitude for Jesus’ sacrifice.

To support the church’s 130th Anniversary Project, Deh made a humble donation of 10,000 cedis. He was joined by Hon. Killian Donkor (MCE) and Hon. Prosper Bani, sharing in the joy and commitment to community and faith.
Im related development: The MP has being reflecting on Easter and the Way-forward with full statement captured below:
Dear compatriots of Kpando constituency. I believe we all had a good Easter weekend, from Good Friday through Easter Monday; mine was focused on connecting with you at the base. I seize this opportunity to share some scenes and moments captured in photos during the festive period.
In line with my call to duty to serve, and my resolve to keep you all across, Sovie, Kudzra, Gbefi and Kpando town updated of constituency’s developmental progress, permit me to highlight the following.
With the unflinching support of government and traditional rulers and with the MCE working closely with me, we have formed a united front and invested substantially in education, healthcare, and infrastructure and I am indeed happy note that we have stayed the course to #Repair, #Revive, and #Restore our communities and municipality at large.
Over the last year, under; Transformational Education & Youth Empowerment we have remained focused on education as the panacea for our future thus, we secured major infrastructure upgrade projects for 10 schools, awarded scholarships to 80 students for tertiary education and empowered 200 apprentices for skills and jobs. Additionally over 2000 children have been supported at the basic level.
Under, Health, Water & Sanitation, we have remained focused on building healthy communities as the backbone of development, consequently we have completed health facilities, drilled additional boreholes for portable water and launched ‘Operation Light-up Kpando’ which led to distribution of street lights to several deserving communities to improve public safety especially at night
Under Infrastructure & Agriculture; our objective has been “Connecting Kpando with better roads and boosting food security. Under this, we’ve regravelled the Torkor Canoe landing beach and distributed tons of fertilizer and farm inputs to farmers.” As a way of improving road infrastructure, the municipality is currently benefiting from a 40km road network improvement recently initiated. It is also exciting to note that, under auspices of the Akpinifia, Okpekpewuokpe Dagadu IX,and with support from Rotary Club-Ho, the maternity block of the central health facility has been re-developed; in conjunction with the clinic at Aziave now fully operational, a strong case has been made for realization of the long awaited dream of having a municipal hospital in Kpando.
All the above have been made possible owing principally to the unity of purpose prevailing amongst leadership in the municipality at the moment. My vision for Kpando continues to prioritize Education and Skills Development, Agribusiness, and Water and Sanitation. These priorities align with the Resetting Agenda of H.E. John Dramani Mahama and are anchored in the broader framework of Resetting Ghana for Growth, Jobs, and Economic Transformation.
I call on all constituents to continue supporting this shared journey as we work together toward a brighter and more prosperous future for Kpando.
Thank you, and may God bless us all as we journey towards the next Easter.
Hon. Sebastian Deh
