National Democratic Congress, (NDC) Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Nasser Toure Mahama has died.
He died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital today Sunday, January 4, 2025. The late MP according to family sources has been battling an unnamed chronic illness for some time now though had not been bedridden. His condition however deteriorated leading to his admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital but unfortunately passed on today.
Processes are underway for his remains to be brought home from the Korle Teaching Hospital for burial in accordance with Islamic principles.
The late Nasser Toure Mahama popularly known as Mark Nassser has been representing the Ayawaso East constituency since it was split into North and East in 2012 till his demise.
He was the vice chairman for the Energy Committee of the 9th Parliament
