At a ceremony held at the University of Ghana stadium conference hall, a brand new supporter’s union recently inaugurated new executive members to direct their affairs.
The inauguration held on March 18, 2025, comes after the tragic death of Kotoko fan Nana Pooley, a football supporter who was fatally stabbed during a football match
Speaking on the occasion Daniel Ofori who is the general secretary, welcomed the new elective on their assumption to office, saying their number one priority should be promoting a positive football environment., education, and the welfare of everybody and call on members to
exercise restraint, and promote a spirit of togetherness, which is vital for the union’s growth.
Emmanuel Gyamfi the president of the union made mention of the fact that, “we need supporters and fans because of the inspiration and motivation they offer to the players and officials. That is why we are here today to formally establish a union dedicated to rallying behind our athletes at local and international tournaments, and used the inauguration platform to appeal to companies and individuals with cash to support and sponsor the newly formed supporter’s union”.
“I truly appreciate the dedication of this new supporter’s union, and I’m confident that through mutual respect and collective effort, we can take Ghanaian football to greater heights,” he stated.
Unstoppable aims to engage and support “all sporting disciplines, including football, basketball Judo Table tennis athletics, boxing, among others .by making this sports activity the most- enjoyable sport in each game center by developing supporting opportunities for players, coaches, and referees as well as grassroots opportunities and at the same time create an electrifying atmosphere.
Different football stakeholders have come together for Unstoppable to ensure it places a sporting role in the Ghanaian community.
There are currently six executive components of unstoppable supporters at the national level to plan for long-term goals:
they are

Mr. Daniel Ofori – General Secretary
Mr. Frank Winter – Treasurer
Mr. William Sarpong – Public Relations Officer (PRO)
Madam Margaret Boadi – Women Organizer
