The Chief Executive of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Mr. Francis Kojo Kwarteng Arthur, has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supporting agribusinesses, as Ghana accelerates efforts to implement a 24-Hour Economy.

At the opening of the Ghana Horticulture Expo 2025 in Accra, Mr Arthur described the event as “pivotal,” adding that collaboration among industry stakeholders is vital to sustaining growth in the sector.

“GEPA, FAGE, and our partners must collaborate to sustain and grow Ghana’s vibrant horticultural sector,” he said.

The GEPA boss pointed to the upcoming SME On-Lending Facility, which offers loans at interest rates between 8% and 12%, as a key instrument in helping local exporters scale operations, access international markets, and remain competitive.

The Horticulture Expo has become a significant platform for connecting producers, exporters, investors, and policymakers, as Ghana looks to boost its non-traditional exports under the government’s economic transformation agenda.
