The Chief Executive of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr. Simon Madjie (Esq), has met with a delegation from the German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana) to discuss ways to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
The delegation, led by Dr. Michael Blank, included Richard Ekow Mensah, Head of DEinternational, and Corinna Paeffgen, GTAI Representative for West Africa.
The discussions focused on Ghana’s investment climate, with an emphasis on addressing regulatory concerns and making the country more attractive to German investors.
Dr. Blank outlined key areas of German investment in Ghana and highlighted strategies to deepen collaboration.
In response, Mr. Madjie assured the delegation that the government was working to improve investment regulations and tax policies to create a more business-friendly environment.
“The Centre is committed to ensuring a stable and predictable business environment that supports long-term investment,” Mr. Madjie said.
The talks also covered several priority sectors, including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Renewable Energy, Technical Skills Development, Agribusiness, and Telecommunications.
