The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has welcomed the inauguration of the Honorary Consulate of the Slovak Republic in Accra, describing it as a key milestone in strengthening economic relations between Ghana and Slovakia.
Speaking at the official launch, Mr. Simon Madjie(Esq), Chief Executive Officer of GIPC, hailed the opening as a positive development that reinforces Ghana’s image as a business-friendly destination.g
He noted that the presence of the consulate would pave the way for deeper bilateral business engagements and attract greater Slovakian investments into the country.
Mr. Madjie emphasized the importance of strategic diplomatic relations in facilitating private sector growth and expressed confidence that the enhanced Ghana-Slovakia relationship would yield tangible benefits for both countries.
Slovak Amb to Ghana, H.E Tomàs Felix, emphasized that this development will not only enhance political relations but also foster deeper cultural exchanges between the two nations. He expressed optimism that the growing partnership will yield mutually beneficial outcomes.
The newly appointed Honorary Consul, H.E. Nii Kwansa Allan Codjoe, also pledged to work with stakeholders to strengthen bilateral cooperation and promote mutual prosperity.
