2025 BECE: Education Minister Visits Examination Centres in the Bono East Region

The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu has visited some examination centres in the Bono East Region.

His visit ensures a smooth examination process in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and addresses any challenges that may arise.

Mr. Iddrisu assessed the examination conditions and interacted with students, and invigilators at the Babatokuma M/A Basic school centre, and the Kintampo SHS Centre A, B&C. The rest include Kwarteng Ankomah SHS, Mount Camel Girls SHS, TESS, and Gyarko Community Day SHS centres in the Kintampo and Techiman Municipalities, respectively.

The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to providing conducive learning environments and pledged to attend to the infrastructure needs of the schools.

Hon Iddrisu’s tour of the examination centres is part of an effort to ensure the smooth conduct of the BECE across the country.

A total of 24,170 candidates are writing the BECE in the Region. The number consists of 11,760 males and 12,410 females.
