Abor township is gearing up for a grand celebration! The Abor Senior High School (ABORSCO) is turning 60, and alumni (ASSOSANS) are rolling in to mark this milestone.
The 60th-anniversary celebration is happening tomorrow February 21, 2026, with a series of activities, including a health walk, campus tour, competitions, cultural night, and a thanksgiving service.
The event’s theme, “60 Years of an Impactful Journey: Providing Transformative Secondary Education through Indigenous Values and 21st Century Skills,” highlights ABORSCO’s commitment to excellence and community impact. Distinguished guests, including government officials and notable alumni, are expected to attend.
Some of the highlights include the unveiling of the official 60th-anniversary cloth and the construction of new facilities, such as teachers’ bungalows and an assembly hall complex.
The celebration aims to reconnect old students with their alma mater, inspire current learners, and showcase the school’s achievements.
