According to Haruna Iddrisu, the beneficiary Universities are the C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences, University of Energy and Natural Resources (UNER), University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), and the S.D. Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SD-UBIDS).

Mr. Iddrisu disclosed this at the 5th Congregation of the C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences in the Upper East Region on Saturday, 21st June, 2025.

The Minister specified that the funding support is meant to accelerate the growth of these institutions and enable them to expand infrastructure, enhance research capabilities, and improve learning environments for students.

“This government is fully committed to nurturing our young public universities, ensuring they have the necessary resources to develop and provide quality education that meets the demands of our evolving economy,” he emphasized.
