As part of efforts to promote Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) across the country, the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, paid a working visit to the Koforidua Technical Institute and St. Paul’s Technical Institute in the Eastern Region on Monday 30th June 2025.
The visit was to monitor the commencement of final year examinations in TVET institutions and to engage with staff and students writing their final year examination.
During his visit, the Minister emphasized the crucial role of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in solving Ghana’s unemployment challenges. He encouraged the candidates to take their training seriously, noting that the skills they are acquiring are essential for national development and self-employment.
Meanwhile, the Director General of the Commission for TVET Mr Zakaria Sulemana, has confirmed that Friday, July 4, 2025, which is a public holiday, will not affect scheduled examinations. All exams for that day will go on as planned.
