The Member of Parliament for Keta, Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey has welcomed students from Abor Senior High School to Ghana’s Parliament on Wednesday.
The visit was part of the school’s 60th-anniversary celebrations, scheduled for February 21, 2026.

Gakpey expressed pride in hosting the students, noting the importance of exposing young people to governance and leadership experiences. “Observing parliamentary proceedings firsthand will shape confident, informed, and responsible future leaders,” he said.

The visit aimed to deepen the students’ understanding of parliamentary processes and inspire their civic engagement. The MP’s office hopes the experience will spark their interest in national development and leadership.

Mr. Gakpey lined up several MPs to addressed the students, the old students and the School Management led by the Head Master in the Parliament House on that faithful day.
