The Member of Parliament for Salaga-South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has visited the site earmarked for the construction of a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Senior High School on the Salaga–Kafaba road. The visit, which took place on Monday, 24th September 2025, formed part of her ongoing constituency engagements.

During the inspection, the MP observed work on site led by the project engineer, Mr. Ransford Obeng, and his team of surveyors. They were busily engaged in site clearing, geo-technical assessments, and topographical investigations- important preparatory steps ahead of the official sod-cutting and the start of full construction.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Hajia Zuwera underscored the importance of the project to the people of Salaga-South. She noted that her constituents are eager to see the project commence and pledged her full support as a stakeholder to ensure a smooth take-off and successful delivery. She also encouraged the contractors to uphold high standards so that the school, once completed, will serve its purpose effectively.

The TVET Senior High School, when completed, is expected to open up greater opportunities for young people in the constituency by expanding access to technical and vocational education. It will also create jobs and contribute to the overall infrastructure development of the area.
