Professor Kingsley Nyarko, Member of Parliament for the Kwadaso Constituency and former Deputy Minister of Education (TVET), has donated school uniforms to pupils of Central Agric Station M/A Primary School, located in the Nzima-Kokode Electoral Area.
The donation came in response to an appeal by the Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Abigail Adjei, aimed at supporting underprivileged pupils and enhancing school attendance.
During the presentation ceremony, Prof. Nyarko underscored the pivotal role of education in personal growth and national development. He encouraged the pupils to embrace learning with seriousness and discipline, urging them to show respect to their teachers, parents, and elders. He referenced a Bible passage, noting that “God lifts the humble,” to inspire the children to remain grounded and diligent.
In addition to the donation, Prof. Nyarko inspected a proposed room for an ICT centre. He commended the initiative and pledged his fullest support toward realizing the project.
This gesture reflects Prof. Nyarko’s sustained commitment to improving education in the Constituency. It is also another step in his broader vision of building a knowledgeable, empowered community where every child has the opportunity to thrive. He reaffirmed his dedication to providing further support in the areas of infrastructure, educational materials, and student welfare.
The Headmistress, teaching staff, and students expressed heartfelt gratitude to the MP, stating that the donation would greatly boost student morale and attendance. They praised his continuous support for education and described the gesture as a timely and impactful intervention—one that exemplifies true leadership, compassion, and dedication to community development.
