The Sokpoe Traditional Area is gearing up for its grand 40th Tortsogbeza festival in 2026, themed _“From the Toils of Our Ancestors to the Progress of Today: Celebrating 40 Years of Heritage, Health and Communal Growth.”_ The celebration will blend traditional rites, music, sports, and community health initiatives into a vibrant cultural showcase.

The festival kicks off with *Mass Traditional Funeral Rites* divided into three groups running from 22nd to 28th March, honoring ancestral customs in communities like Ahadofeme, Avunufeme, and Fa/Laglahfeme. The official program then unfolds with a packed lineup:
