In the same vein, there are many ways people celebrate Easter in Ghana, i.e the celebration
differs from one community to another.

Of late, Kwahu o kwahu o has been sent to the waves of estatic Easter celebrations to the Kwahu Community in the Eastern Region.
It goes without saying that, kwahu o kwahu o has come about as a result of the Media hype given it.
However, as the “Cat-killing”, saying quoted above has it, other communities in the country do celebrate the Easter festivities in divers ways.

Whereas some are purely religious in nature, other are simply mundane in nature or a blend of the two all together.
All these, however, go with lot, and different types of ecstacy depending upon the community in question and celebrants involved.
Southern Volta
Volta Region, the home toursim (we say this because of the many tourst attraction there) also does celebrate Easter in divers ways as already stated above.
Sokpoe Tortsogbe Za

People in this community starts the celebration of Easter on Thursday night eating deep into early morning hours of Friday with celebrants claded in red.
This celebration concide with their festival-Tortsogbe Za which seeks people outpouring in their numbers on the streets and thronging on Lover Volta Bridge, the longest bridge in the Country.
This encounter, urshers one deep into Easter festivity in the Volta Region as that bridge is considered as the gateway to the Southern part of the Volta Region.
There is no gain saying the fact that this encounter has it advantages and disadvantages.

One of the outstanding disadvantages is the long traffic jam all the way from Ada to the Sogakorpe.
Advantage wise, since it brings many people to gathering it boost economic activities as people are buying and selling of consumables one can think of.
Vodza in the Keta Municipality.
Here, ecstatic celebrants engaged in a number activities.

These include Boat racing, Football, Valleys ball, Basketball all in water-happening live on the Keta Lagoon Complex, thereby offering unprecedented excitement and beautiful scenery.

Adafienu in Ketu South Municipality
Here too, excited celebrants celebrate Easter right from Thursday night to late Easter Monday night with blazing sounds from loud speakers at Takpe Beach.
Outstanding programme include Candle light procession preceded by Church services.
Also, Friday is characterized with Borborbor night, rap competition, Agbadza dance and other forms of local music.
Saturday night is characterized by talent show with Sunday recording grand gospel show comprising worship, praises and prayers, singing and dancing by various church groups.

To say that, the celebration
go to peak is an under estimation.
This day witnesses a great picnic with beach party activities such as racing, pot braking, tag of peace (tag of war), running, valleys ball, lime in spon race, needle racing and many more with spinners doing their own thing to entertain the celebrants.
