A delegation led by Dr. Eric Afornofe and Mr. Abeiku Aggrey, on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, has briefed the Hon. Minister, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, on the outcomes of a high-level engagement in China, undertaken as a follow-up to the 2025 state visit of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama.
The visit opened new prospects for collaboration in tourism, cultural exchange, infrastructure development, and investment within Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy, including hospitality facilities, creative industry partnerships, academic exchange programmes, and tourism promotion initiatives.
Chinese institutions and private sector partners also expressed interest in educational exchanges, translation of Ghanaian works, cultural festivals, and expanded tour packages to Ghana.
The Ministry will continue structured follow-up engagements through diplomatic channels to advance partnerships that support sector growth and national development.
