The event, themed “Tanko and Friends: Easter Get-Together”, was marked by vibrant cultural displays, networking sessions, and a festive atmosphere featuring music, pool games, chair dance, and a game of draughts. The gathering served as a unique blend of celebration, entertainment, and community engagement.

In attendance were the Volta Regional Minister, regional executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), newly confirmed Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), and hundreds of supporters and residents, particularly from southern Volta.

The gathering celebrated Stonebwoy’s contribution to music and his continued efforts to promote the Volta Region on both national and global stages. The musician, who hails from the area, has consistently embraced his Ewe heritage in his music and public appearances, becoming a proud ambassador for the region.

Chief Tanko, in his remarks, praised Stonebwoy for inspiring the youth and raising the Volta flag high on global stages. He also called on other young talents from the region to emulate the artist’s dedication and resilience.
