Addressing the Envoys, the President indicated that their appointment is a mark of confidence reposed in them for the years of dedicated service rendered to the country in various capacities.

He urged them to uphold accountability in their leadership to contribute to national priorities. Emphasizing the need for sound administration, he highlighted the role of integrity and admonished the Envoys on the prudent use of public resources.

He emphasized that the Reset Agenda aims to restore hope for inclusivity and urged them to forge strategic partnerships that will contribute to the country’s development. He mentioned that as vanguards of Ghana’s economic diplomacy, the Envoys have the responsibility to strengthen bilateral ties and to promote trade and investment.

On behalf of the newly appointed Envoys, Victor Emmanuel Smith, Ambassador-designate to the United States of America, expressed appreciation to His Excellency the President for the confidence and trust reposed in them and assured that they would adhere to the ideals of diplomacy in the discharge of their duties in their countries of accreditation. In addition, he pledged that the Envoys would put Ghana first in their mandates to promote development for a better future.
