The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has called on stakeholders in the Western North Region to unite and work together for the accelerated development of the region.
According to him, development thrives on unity, stressing that the creation of the Western North Region was intended to bring the people together to collectively harness their resources and potentials for progress.
Hon. Akandoh made this call during a working visit to the region as part of his Christmas activities.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration among traditional authorities, political actors, opinion leaders, and the youth in driving sustainable development.
On the second day of the visit, the Minister toured several districts and constituencies, including Bia West, Bia East, Aowin, Suaman, and Akontombra, where he interacted with local stakeholders and reaffirmed government’s commitment to addressing the developmental needs of the region.
He urged residents to put aside partisan and personal differences and focus on a shared vision of growth and prosperity for the Western North Region.
The Health Minister also used the opportunity to paid a surprised visit to the Enchi Government Hospital.
