He emphasized the critical role of NITA in Ghana’s digital transformation efforts, particularly in ICT policy implementation, cybersecurity, and e-governance.

Dr. Oliver-Kevor brings to NITA over 20 years of experience in academia, specializing in Knowledge Management Systems, ICT and SME studies, Telecommunications, and Information Security.

He also held an additional responsibility as Ghana’s government expert on International Information Security at the United Nations, contributing to global policy discussions on cybersecurity and digital resilience.

Dr. Oliver-Kevor holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Ghana, a Master of Science in ICT and Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). With his leadership, NITA is expected to strengthen its role in enhancing ICT governance, expanding digital infrastructure, and ensuring robust cybersecurity frameworks to support Ghana’s growing digital economy.
