The Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has made a passionate appeal to his colleague’s MPs to support the passage of the various estimates of the 2025 budget to help the government implement its economic policy that will propel economic growth.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Post Budget Workshop held in Parliament Dr. Ato revealed the budget includes various transformational measures such as the Big Push, the Goldboard, and Agriculture for Economic Transformation amongst others if implemented more sustainable jobs will be created for the youth,
In his address, he called on “Parliament, the business community, civil society, investors, and all citizens to support the bold reforms outlined in this budget. Together, we have the power to build a resilient economy that not only tackles today’s challenges but secures a prosperous future.”
During the presentation of the budget, The Minister made a bold statement on how the government intends to address unemployment issues, corruption issues, and how to create jobs for the people as promised as they begin resetting the agenda-, “this budget is a foundation upon which we will build a more resilient and equitable society. This budget is not just about numbers—it is a blueprint for growth, stability, and opportunity.
“With unity and determination, we can restore faith in our economy, foster innovation, and uplift every Ghanaian”.
