As Muslim brothers and sisters embark on the holy journey of fasting and prayers, the Member of Parliament for Afadzato South, Frank Afriyie, has donated fifteen (15) bags of rice and five (5) bags of sugar to the Muslim community in his constituency to support them during this sacred period.
The donation was made on behalf of the MP by a delegation of Constituency Executive Committee (CEC) members, led by the Vice Chairman and the Secretary.
The items were received by the office of the District Chief Imam.
Speaking during the handover, the Constituency Vice Chairman conveyed a goodwill message from the MP to the Muslim community, wishing them a successful Eid.
In response, the spokesperson for the Chief Imam expressed gratitude to the MP for his generous gesture on behalf of the Muslim community in Afadzato South.
