Agyenim-Boateng lobbies GPHA to increase its insurance portfolio with SIC Insurance

The Managing Director of SIC Insurance Mr. Agyenim-Boateng has called on the GPHA to increase its insurance portfolio with SIC Insurance PLC for mutual benefit as State Actors.

Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, on Monday , 14th April, 2025 had the privilege to host the Acting Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Brigadier General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono.

Brigadier General Tanye-Kulono was accompanied by a high-powered delegation.

The meeting which was at the request of Mr. Agyenim-Boateng, was not only granted by the GPHA Director-General, but he also decided to rather visit the head office of SIC Insurance PLC for the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, James Agyenim-Boateng said he was interested in getting GPHA to increase its insurance portfolio with SIC Insurance PLC, noting that significant accounts were taken from SIC Insurance PLC over the last eight years.

While urging GPHA to increase its insurance business with SIC Insurance PLC, he pointed out that the company is financially strong and pays claims on time regardless of the sum involved.

For his part, Brigadier General Tanye-Kulono pledged to favourably consider the request of Mr. Agyenim-Boateng.
