Presidential aspirant of the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG), David Sitsope Tamakloe, has donated a laser printer to the Association’s Secretariat in Accra.
The gesture follows his vetting visit, where he discovered the Secretariat’s only printer had broken down, forcing staff to travel to print documents.
Mr. Tamakloe said the move was to ease operations and called on individuals, agencies, and corporate bodies to support PRINPAG in promoting press freedom and professionalism. “Seeing the inconvenience, I felt compelled to help,” he noted.
Receiving the donation, PRINPAG President Edwin Arthur thanked him, describing it as a timely and thoughtful intervention.
He stressed it was not politically motivated and urged others to emulate the gesture to help improve journalism standards in Ghana.
