The Energy Commission working with the Electrical Wiring Secretariat, embarked on a community-focused sensitization outreach in Techiman, the capital of the Bono East Region from 18th to 23rd November 2025.
The goal was simple: to educate electricity consumers on energy efficiency, conservation tips, and electrical safety regulations to help reduce waste, save money, and protect lives and property.
Throughout the week, the team engaged residents through radio discussions on Gaskia FM, Free FM, Classic FM, and Winners FM; market outreaches at the Central Market; and interactive visits to the Mosque, SDA Church, and Church of Pentecost, spreading practical knowledge and empowering the community with safer energy habits.
The people of Techiman responded with enthusiasm, showing strong commitment to adopting efficient and safe electricity practices.
Together, we continue to build a safer, greener, and more energy-conscious Ghana.
