Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Accra, Dr. Forson said he was exceedingly pleased to see the board come to life when Ghana’s economy is recovering from significant stress.

He urged the newly inaugurated board to act with integrity and focus in fulfilling their mandate, particularly in protecting investors, promoting transparency, and safeguarding the soundness of the capital market.

Dr. Forson emphasized the importance of the SEC’s role in rebuilding confidence and restoring dignity to Ghana’s financial landscape.
