The Municipal Chief Executive of Ketu North, Rev. Martin Amenaki together with his team attended the official induction ceremony for the Community Protection Assistants at the Dzodze Police Station. The event marked a significant milestone in enhancing community security through the formal deployment of new service personnel.
Representing the delegation were notable officials, including Seth Amegatsey, Acting EPA Director; Godwin Tovor; Madam Yegbegah Justine; and Emmanuel Atokple, Eben Bright Fiadogbe, Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) and the key figure behind the ceremony, also graced the occasion.
In his remarks, the MCE expressed deep appreciation to the newly inducted officers, praising their dedication and willingness to serve. He emphasized that their commitment is vital to fostering safer and more resilient communities within Ketu North.
Rev. Martin Amenaki said, “I am proud to witness the formal entry of these young officers into service,” he stated. “Their sense of duty embodies the spirit of service and community development we uphold in our municipality.”
The ceremony also highlighted the strong advocacy and benevolence of the Member of Parliament for Ketu North, whose efforts have resulted in the unprecedented deployment of service assistants across the district this year. The MCE commended the MP’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of constituents, which continues to yield tangible improvements in community security.
Additionally, recognition was given to the invaluable contributions of the YEA Director, whose commitment has significantly supported the progress made in youth employment and community safety initiatives.
He, however, urged the new Community Protection Assistants to serve with integrity, discipline, and excellence, emphasizing their crucial role in safeguarding the well-being of the municipality. He wished them success in their duties, expressing confidence that their efforts would bolster security and foster development in Ketu North.
