On Monday, 14th April 2025, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of South Tongu, Victoria Dzeklo has visited the Agordomi Water Treatment Plant to assess progress on the ongoing water expansion project.
Following a brief stop at her office, the MCE proceeded to the facility to gain firsthand insight into the Municipality’s water challenges.
She was received by Edan Koren, Manager of LESICO Company, the firm overseeing the project, who provided a detailed briefing on the current status of work.
Statement issued by South Tongu NDC Communication Bureau said,
Madam Dzeklo commended the efforts of the contractor and assured residents that their concerns would be addressed promptly.
She pledged to follow up on the recommendations provided by the Project Manager to Ghana Water Company so as to expedite solutions / actions and ensure sustainable water supply for the people of South Tongu.
The MCE reiterated her commitment to resolving the water challenges in the Municipality and improving living conditions for all constituents.
