Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) Ltd on Tuesday, 25th November 2025, received the President, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IMANI Africa, Mr. Franklin Cudjoe, who paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of the refinery, Mr. Edmond Kombat. The visit formed part of his broader interest in monitoring and supporting the progress of strategic national institutions.
Mr. Cudjoe used the opportunity to engage the Managing Director and tour various sections of the refinery to observe ongoing activities.
He explained that his decision to visit was informed by his long-standing commitment to advocating for the growth and development of State Institutions. Having followed the refinery’s steady progress toward operational revival through media reports, he considered it necessary to obtain first-hand information and personally assess the work done.

He noted that TOR is one of the key institutions he keenly monitors, adding that he has a genuine interest in seeing the facility restored to full operation. His overarching motivation, he said, is rooted in his desire to see Ghana’s strategic institutions become more efficient, productive, and impactful.
The Managing Director, on behalf of the entire organisation, warmly welcomed Mr. Cudjoe and expressed profound gratitude for what he described as a patriotic and commendable gesture. He highlighted TOR’s ongoing efforts to restore operations and assured IMANI Africa’s President of the refinery’s commitment to transparency, hard work, and strategic transformation.
Mr. Cudjoe was highly impressed with the level of progress achieved so far and applauded the management and staff of TOR for their dedication to reviving the refinery. He encouraged the team to remain focused and continue the momentum toward full operational restoration.
