The Keta Municipal Assembly, led by Municipal Chief Executive Wisdom Seade and the MP for the Area, Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey, is set to kick off this year with a significant development project.
A sod-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2026, marking the official start of several vital projects aimed at enhancing education and healthcare within the municipality.

The upcoming projects include the construction of a KG Blocks at Anlo State School in Abutiakope, a 6-Unit Classroom Block at Anlo Afiadenyigba R/C Basic School, and two new CHPS (Community-Based Health Planning and Services) Compounds at Tengekope and Seva. Additionally, a 3-unit Classroom Block will be built at Atiavi Atime MA Basic School.
These initiatives reflect the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to improving the social infrastructure of Keta, particularly focusing on education and healthcare facilities to better serve its residents.
