The Member of Parliament for Kpando, Sebastian Deh, has pledged to work tirelessly to restore water supply and expand electricity coverage to more communities within the municipality.
In collaboration with the Municipal Assembly, Ghana Water Company, ECG, and his office, the MP has successfully restored piped water to various locations after a two-week stoppage.

The MP on his Facebook wall said, “Today, I engaged with assembly members and utility service managers—water and electricity—to develop strategies that will help mitigate the impact of such crises in the future. While numerous boreholes have been installed across the municipality to supplement the main water supply, it has become evident that many of these boreholes lack proper management and supervision, affecting their effectiveness”.
During the meeting, the team deliberated on actionable strategies to ensure sustainable solutions for the community’s water and electricity needs.
Mr. Deh used opportunity to express his gratitude to Killian Donkor, the MCE; Agboka, the PM of the Assembly; Adade, Manager of GWC; Parku, the ECG Representative; and engineers from the regional level for their deep collaboration and commitment in addressing this crisis.
“Together, we are dedicated to solving community problems and advancing the development of our municipality and nation: the MP added.
