“As Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu, I launched a One Million cedis (Ghs 1,000,000) Education Scholarship Fund to support brilliant but needy tertiary students within my constituency”, these are words from the MP.
This initiative, according to him, aims to provide financial assistance to students at various levels of education, from basic through tertiary institutions, helping to reduce the financial burden on parents and promote equal access to quality education.
Speaking at the launch, I reaffirmed my commitment to human capital development, emphasizing that education remains the most powerful tool for transforming lives and communities. I stated that the fund will be transparently managed to ensure that beneficiaries are selected based on merit and genuine need.
The Education Scholarship Fund forms part of my broader vision to empower the youth, improve educational outcomes, and promote sustainable development in the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency.
