Nana Agradaa, the self-styled evangelist and founder of Heaven Way Champion Ministries International Church, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison by an Accra Circuit Court. The conviction stems from charges of charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by pretenses.
Nana Agradaa skillfully executed the offenses and showed no remorse, which influenced the court’s decision. The presiding judge, Evelyn Asamoah, emphasized that Nana Agradaa’s actions were egregious and warranted a significant sentence.
This conviction is part of a larger pattern of alleged fraudulent activities by Nana Agradaa, who has faced multiple charges in various courts. In 2022, she was arrested and granted bail multiple times for similar offenses, including money-doubling scams reported by some church members.
